I believe in the power of design to initiate change for a meaningful future: not only through artefacts, but also through enabling people with the right tools and platforms to express themselves. I have a passion for learning, and I am interested in where creativity meets the human potential. I love studying creativity and creative processes, understanding people and translating what I feel and observe into meaningful and pleasant solutions.
My ongoing PhD studies at TU/e Industrial Design is on value co-creation for aiding societal problems through design-driven innovation approach. I developed a methodological approach to design for societal challenges by involving stakeholders.
I am a Usability Expert at Philips Design, conducting user and design research for healthcare solutions. Formerly I took research and design responsibilities for 15 years in the R&D projects for home appliances, automotive and healthcare products; gave lectures and workshops about user research, UX design and design collaboration in Turkey, Sweden, Italy and The Netherlands. I hold a BSc City Planning-Urban Design and MSc. Industrial Design.
